iAdvocate by Syracuse University  – iAdvocate is a helpful tool for parents to use as a resource to help them advocate for their children with special needs in the educational environment. The app is divided into sections including Strategies, Resources, and Responses. Strategies include basic information about an Individual Education Plan (IEP), writing goals, the importance of documentation, knowing the law and getting support. The Resources section contains a list of articles, books, films, websites and a summary of inclusion-related court cases. Price: Free
